For those with musical curiosity, I have been on
the guitar since the age of 15 (it was a good way to meet girls
then... and still is from what I hear) and continued playing for over
30 years in clubs and hotels as well as The Woodford Festival, Gympie
Muster, and support top Australian and overseas acts.
The concept of the album, which involves all the
usual country and blues subjects ranging from woman trouble to woman
trouble as well as irritating friends and relatives, deceased pets
and other forms of existential angst, began in January, 2004. when I
decided to put pen to paper and finally complete some songs
that have been meaning to finish.
Should anyone have the curiosity to listen to any
downloads [your mad if you don't , you might get a laugh] and enjoy
some of these bitter and twisted little numbers or even buy my album,
I can guarantee every dollar will go into the production of more
music for your critical ear. Influences are (apart from the wife)
Tony Joe White, Brian Setzer, Little Feat, Lucinda Williams, North
Missisipi Allstars...go figure when you listen!
WARNING:
This musician is currently receiving counseling for guitar acquisitions
syndrome or GAS.
Listening to this album may have the same effect.
